I walked comfortably to meet my daughter, rejoicing all the way in the quickness and power of God’s Word.
Genuine innocence is a trusting, pure confidence that God is all-powerful and all-present good. This carries with it the conviction that evil is not powerful because it’s not sanctioned by God, and can dissolve into its inherent unreality.

Safe in the storm

When the hurricane was just ten miles offshore, it suddenly—some said miraculously—lifted up and never touched land. There was much talk in our area about how prayer had protected us all from danger.
Does having a healing depend on us living perfect lives, never making a single mistake or doing anything wrong? Hear from this author about why we can be healed no matter what, but why it’s also natural to want to do the right thing.

His aunt explained that one way to know God is through the names for God that you can find in the Bible and in a book called Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. She said that he could think of each name for God sort of like a knight that was always with him and protecting him.

At its core, the opportunity to take Primary class instruction is an opportunity to join a community of healers where men and women support each other and humanity at large through prayer.
This week’s photographic inspiration and related text.
I found it easier to read an article here and there in the Sentinel than to study the Bible Lesson daily. All of that changed one semester when I became so ill with a debilitating sore throat, fatigue, and weakness that I could not attend classes.
When I expressed love to others instead of looking to others to love me, I lost the fear of being judged. God was revealing to me my true nature as His faultless reflection, secure in His—infinite Love’s—keeping.

God really was with me

I was able to make my way back to the parking lot, feeling as though I had just witnessed a miracle. But I knew from Sunday School that it hadn’t been a miracle; it had been proof of God’s saving presence and power.
As my future wife explained the concept of material existence as an incorrect understanding of a good God’s creation, I was intrigued enough to try to understand what she was talking about.
