My blackboard of thought records
everything I think each day—
whatever I think of in a good or bad way.
But wait! Who or what determines
which thoughts stay there?
Is it my state of watching,
allowing either truthful thoughts that show care
or mistaken thoughts that lead nowhere?
Indeed, with Christ, Truth, as my guide,
I accept only the good that God provides.
And what about unwanted thoughts that have no place?
On my blackboard of thought, all I have to do is to erase!
