Healing of wart has wider impact
Recently, I had occasion to appreciate the enduring power of Christian Science treatment and how divine Truth can displace any erroneous and afflictive thought and reestablish mental and physical harmony. The effects of applying divine Truth in our daily experience are far-reaching.
Two summers ago, I visited my sister’s branch Church of Christ, Scientist, in a distant state via Zoom. It was to be her last Wednesday testimony meeting as First Reader. I testified about a quick healing I’d had years earlier of a wart on my finger—a very annoying wart that had constantly and painfully intruded on my thought throughout the day.
I shared that I’d been having treatment through prayer from a Christian Science practitioner about something else, and that one of our discussions had gone so well that the practitioner asked if anything else was bothering me. “Well, yes,” I said. “This wart on my finger. It hurts every time I put my hand in my pocket.”
