The light of gratitude
the dawn rises
the wings of morning spread
above high mountains
light brightens the whole earth
gratitude is like that dawn
like the rays of sun
that glisten on the ocean
that soften and remove
the shadows of night
gratitude is the window
through which Love shines
illumining the abyss of night—
the loneliness
the despair
the nagging fear
gratitude opens wide
the windows of heaven
welcomes in
the affluence of harmony
the all-might of Soul
the peace of omnipotence
and leaves only
perfection
standing there
unabashed
triumphant
smiling
