A psalmist sang, “O how love I thy law!” (Psalms 119:97). We can also replace the exclamation mark in that line with a question mark, and ask ourselves, How do I love God’s law?

The living idea

Instead of wallowing in pain and a mistaken sense of limitation, we rise up, maturing in our understanding of God’s expression of us, Life’s infinite idea.

Morning after a storm, Northern Lake Michigan, Glen Arbor, Michigan

Suddenly, like a wonderful burst of sunlight after a storm, came clearly this thought, “Be still, and know that I am God” ...

What will I do today?

Whatever I do today, I hope and pray to be alert to and aware of people around me who are in need, to recognize ways in which I can be of help, and to share something of Christ’s promise and blessing each day.

As God’s reflection, each one of us is complete and secure and does not have to entertain doubts or fears about our livelihood.
I thought I would share my bedtime prayer with you in case it could help you, too.
Years ago, while my husband was away, I was home with our three young children when they all began exhibiting aggressive cold symptoms.

Healed on a hike

My friend and I were getting the same inspiration: that we were witnessing God’s glory not only in the beauty surrounding us but also in a restoration to physical normalcy.

Infertility overcome

I had to trust more deeply that God is Love and supplies all good all the time to His beloved children.

A restless night becomes peaceful

All children of God are innocent, protected, and joyful, just as God knows us to be.

Timeless days

Eternal God, who’s always near,
—expanding moments
and conquering years ...

Man

Both unity among believers and knowledge of Christ are essential to attaining this spiritual maturity.
