The living idea
Fresh and beautiful, spiritual inspiration comes directly from God as a dynamic realization that heals our heart.
What’s better than finding newness of life, whether in the genesis of an exciting new project or, even better, in feeling the freedom of God-provided harmony and health?
Mary Baker Eddy keys in on the phrase “newness of life” five times in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. One of my favorites is, “Let us feel the divine energy of Spirit, bringing us into newness of life and recognizing no mortal nor material power as able to destroy” (p. 249).
The “divine energy of Spirit”—of God—not only provides “newness of life” but reveals that there is no power that can destroy Life, because God is Life. This Life is not affected by any material circumstances.
