The expectation that brings progress
Our expectation regarding an outcome is influenced by where we place our thought.
Recently, I read about a sportsperson who had to work hard over several years to break through the belief that they couldn’t achieve a certain goal. The goal was attained once the barrier of believing it couldn’t be accomplished was overcome.
In many areas of life, we need to keep working at something to remove mental barriers that hinder us from achieving a right goal, and our expectation of being able to do so greatly influences our progress. This requirement also applies in demonstrating God’s law of good through prayer.
We don’t have to do something to make a fundamental law active, because it is eternally true and always active.
