Find peace by resting in God
Resting our thoughts in God can be very powerful prayer, bringing us true peace and rest. Doing this is not escapism—ignoring what appears to confront us. No, it is placing our full attention on divine Truth, on everything that God, good, is and is doing.
Prayer can be simply pausing to deeply love Truth’s full, commanding presence. Christian Science teaches that nothing but Truth, God, including man as Truth’s manifestation, is actually in action. When we grasp this concept even a little, we naturally feel at peace and quietly restful, settled in the truth of what we are as God’s, Spirit’s, expression.
Embracing a deep spiritual peace begins with listening to God.
