Love’s transparency
From deep within my heart I pray,
O Spirit, rest on me.
A stillness, an abiding peace,
unfolds so tenderly.
I wait expectant, humbly watch.
You show me what is true:
a pure, untroubled quietness,
my thoughts reflecting You.
There’s no regret, no cumbered past,
no mortal life divided—
secure in Love’s foreverhood,
one Life, one Us, united.
Here Your living waters keep me
safe, unharmed, and clear.
Such faithfulness unfailing!
I pray to do Your will.
I seek no life apart from You.
With face unveiled, I see
perfect God, perfect man,
“through Love’s transparency.” 1
