No fall from harmony
I want to share proof that Christian Science, the law of God, heals. One evening last November, I was playing tennis. A ball was hit way over my head, and I was running to get it. As I turned, I tripped and suddenly went flying—and crashed down hard on my hip. The other players told me I should just stay still. Instead, I sat up and then tried to stand, but found that I couldn’t put any weight on my right leg. It hurt a lot. After being helped to a bench, I said that I just needed to sit for a bit and that everyone should continue playing.
As I sat there, many thoughts rushed in that I knew were coming from God. First was the joy of knowing that I could prove the actuality of God’s law of harmony; second was the thought that every right activity I engage in expresses and glorifies God. After that, I remembered words from the poem “Mother’s Evening Prayer” by the Discoverer of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy:
