We are not fragile

Ideas are not erasable. God-derived qualities are permanent. Glimpsing these spiritual truths opens fresh possibilities, enabling a beautiful resilience in facing any form of adversity.
I was confident that I could improve what I was believing. I was able to quickly replace that human belief of physical causation with a better belief—in fact, the absolute, spiritual truth—from what I have learned over the years as a student of Christian Science.
God is here, right now, pouring love into our hearts. We are created to feel this love and have it move us forward.

Fortunately for all humanity, the only label God, Spirit, attaches to His offspring in the first chapter of Genesis in the Bible is “very good.”
Where the floods of trouble flow

I sat there and really thought about how much love and harmony was around me.
I felt no more pain, and—even more important—found that the fear and feeling of being unsettled had dissipated. I went to sleep and woke up normally after a peaceful night.
I became so engrossed in seeing how love had been a constant in my life that all pain soon ceased, and a peace like none I had ever felt before washed over me.
When I give my full prayerful attention to the Bible Lesson, I am uplifted. And this uplifting helped my husband as well.
Wisdom literature teaches that true riches come from God, the source of all good, not from human effort.
I am so grateful this testimony was shared! The writer’s reminder that we do not have the power to cause anything untoward because God is all power and has only good for His children cleared some mist from my thinking about a similar situation.
