Opening up to a quiet fount of spiritual ideas stills thought that is fearful, muddled, or self-focused and leads to healing.
If ever tempted to think efforts to improve government are futile, we can look to the life of Jesus for hope.

The Second Commandment saved me

I faced these aggressive memories with the conviction of God’s power and presence, praying, “I can entertain no thoughts or memories that aren’t from God, good.”
Jesus makes plain that it is not the reciprocal love among family and friends that he is calling on us to practice but the kind of universal love that God expresses.
