Turkey and Syria
[Jenny Sawyer, “The restoring power of Love,” cssentinel.com, February 10, 2023]
Thank you for this article regarding the tragedy in Turkey and Syria. The idea Jenny shared from the 23rd Psalm was so helpful.

“To hold guard”
Huge kudos for forwarding so well the purpose that Mary Baker Eddy articulated for the Sentinel—“to hold guard over Truth, Life, and Love” (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 353). I have seen this in so many recent issues, but the February 6, 2023, issue particularly struck me with two articles: James Rosebush’s “How we can ‘hold crime in check’ ” and Evan Mehlenbacher’s “To love an enemy.” Each was filled with specific ideas on how to pray about two pernicious problems that need our serious engagement. Thank you.

So ready for this poem
[Kelsey Lyon, “Those prison walls,” cssentinel.com, February 3, 2023]
Faced with my own prison walls, I was so ready for this poem today! My thanks to the author for sharing it.
