Such a helpful issue
I loved the August 22, 2022, Sentinel; it was so helpful. Every article had something that connected to the daily prayers I have been doing, including how to pray for the world and not get lost in the nightly news, the importance of rooting out old patterns of thinking in order to move forward, the refreshment and peace of a calm state of thought, and divine grace as a precious gift. Thanks.

Never without
[Rod Wagner, “An angel on Strawberry Mountain,” Sentinel, August 15, 2022]
What a beautiful description of a journey up and down a mountain. Yes, we are never for a moment without God’s love, care, and protection. Praise God!

Embraced in Christly love
Thank you to Louis Benjamin (“When a loved one passes on,” Sentinel, July 25, 2022). His article spoke to me of God’s love for both me and my loved one who had recently passed on. Knowing, as the article states, that we “are both embraced in the Christly love of God’s ever-presence” is a genuine comfort. Thank you!
