Healed of coronavirus
I wish to express gratitude for the many avenues we have for prayerful help in Christian Science. About a year ago, I felt overwhelming fatigue, dizziness, and weakness. Although this caused some fear, as a lifelong Christian Scientist, I knew I could turn to God for help and healing.
I began reading some of my favorite Bible passages. Psalm 91 offered great inspiration and hope. I accepted it as God’s promise to me of His healing presence—of His help and deliverance. Isaiah 41:10 instructed me not to fear, as God was with me. In Isaiah 40:28–31, I read that God was never weary or faint, and could never lose His strength, and this encouraged me to expect the same for myself as His beloved child.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, answers the question “What is man?” with profound statements of truth, such as “Man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique. He is . . . that which has not a single quality underived from Deity; . . .” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 475). Her full answer to this question brought much healing to my thought.
