Are we pursuing real success?

What our neighbors near and far most need is for limited, worldly thinking to increasingly give way to a scientific, spiritual understanding of reality. Each time we grow in our grasp of this, the balance of human consciousness shifts in this direction. These shifts, no matter how modest, are deeply meaningful.
The most powerful solution to perceived lack or inequality always lies in striving to identify ourselves and everyone else spiritually. This identity is whole, satisfied, and forever blessed with spiritual qualities that we each uniquely reflect.
I asked myself, “How did God make man, whether an autocrat, a politician, or me?”
Things were different in the days and weeks that followed. The temptation to use drugs immediately and permanently left me.
I was able to make my way back to the parking lot, feeling as though I had just witnessed a miracle. But I knew from Sunday School that it hadn’t been a miracle; it had been proof of God’s saving presence and power.
Mind is the source of all seeing, hearing, and moving, and Spirit, Soul, is ever present and beautifies everything. These thoughts finally freed me from fear, and that was the end of the difficulty; the healing was complete.
I affirmed that Spirit is God and again claimed that I am God’s image and likeness and therefore spiritual, not material. I held on to these truths persistently.
I contacted a Christian Science practitioner, who agreed to pray for me. He assured me that I could not be deprived of all that God had already given me—such as life, health, joy, peace, goodness, and strength.
