Healed of malaria
Originally published in French.
Over 15 years ago I was introduced to Christian Science by a neighbor who later became a very good friend. That day I was feeling as if I was in a mental fog and went across the alley to chat with this neighbor, just for a change in the way I was thinking.
Our discussion immediately veered toward the Bible. This neighbor talked to me about God as no one ever had before. He told me that God is Love and therefore does not cause harm to His children. He explained to me, by means of the first chapter of Genesis, that because God is Spirit, man—God’s child, or image—is entirely spiritual. He finished by lending me the textbook of Christian Science, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
What I read there knocked me over, so to speak. I recognized the ideas in that book as the truth. I had visited various other churches, but Christian Science shed new light on the Scriptures that I found very inspiring.
