Truth always available

What a beautifully written editorial (“The powerlessness of lies”) by Tony Lobl in the April 12, 2021, Sentinel. It inspired me to reread No and Yes by Mary Baker Eddy.

It is good to know that Truth is always available to us and that we never need to succumb to error.

Much gratitude

My heart is filled with gratitude for your publications. I now live in an assisted living complex, and I regularly place Christian Science magazines in the lobby. I notice that residents here snap them up immediately. And I was blessed some time ago by a gift, which I’ve used to give subscriptions to a few relatives.

Having to leave my home was quite a challenge. Conrad Heath’s article, “Our home in God” (Glimpses of Truth, Sentinel, February 15, 2021), woke me up from feeling alone and missing home and neighbors and lifted me to see new horizons. And a new friend with whom I have shared articles kept asking questions about Christian Science and, in particular, her feelings of guilt. So I gave her a copy of William Whittenbury’s article, “Self-Immolation: Purifying, not condemning, self” (Sentinel, March 15, 2021), and for the first time, she understood her innocence as the child of God. She is so grateful.
