When we are living the beautiful qualities that express everyone’s true identity—purity, compassion, tenderness, mercy, unselfishness, and countless others—God’s redeeming and healing love shines forth through us to bless all humanity.
God, who is universal good, provides for all our needs even before we ask or know about them. So we can confidently thank God for blessings we know are inevitably ours as His loved children.
I thought about the Apostle Paul’s affirmation “In him we live, and move, and have our being” (Acts 17:28). With that in mind, I reasoned that all movement must be sourced in God and therefore harmonious.
Being from a generation that didn’t grow up with computers and other high-tech devices, I had to heal the belief that I was too old to learn these new procedures.
Thinking of God’s abundance reflected in this beautiful crop that would nourish and bless so many families helped turn my thought away from the fatigue and pain to appreciation for the deeper meaning and purpose of my task.
