A quick healing at camp
One summer, I went to a camp that I love for Christian Scientists. One day, my cabin mates and I went to the cabin next door. I was wearing only socks, and as I walked into the other cabin, I stepped hard on something sharp. Instantly, I felt a pain in my foot, and my eyes started to water. I looked at the bottom of my foot, and there was a thumbtack stuck in it. I started crying.
One of my counselors asked me why I was crying, and I told her what had happened. She helped me to a deck chair and went to find the camp mom.
One of my friends had a copy of the Christian Science Hymnal, and she and all the other girls from both cabins started to sing Hymn 148, which begins:
