Room to grow
A man ran to Jesus, kneeled,
and asked what he should do
to inherit eternal life.
Jesus spoke of the commandments,
and the man had kept them
from his youth.
But he still had room to grow
in his walk of faith,
so Jesus further guided him.1
We all have room to grow,
more than we might know.
We strive to live our faith,
grow closer to God,
follow Jesus’ healing example.
Yet, after dedicated, soul-searching prayer,
have we no answer, solution, healing?
We all have room to grow,
more than we might know.
Pray to God with renewed hope, courage,
faith, persistence, patience.
“Be of good courage,
and He shall strengthen your heart,
all you who hope in the Lord.” 2
Listen with humble receptivity to God.
Know that Love divine
will speak to your heart.
And you can grow even more
to know man as
God’s spiritual, beloved offspring.
