Thank you for this account of an experience that can be so commonplace for some of us, yet with differing results. The themes and biblical references are very similar to a path I have been following, under somewhat similar circumstances. (I am also a director of an architectural practice.) Isaiah was the touchstone for me, but I also found myself studying the Church Manual by Mary Baker Eddy with new eyes.
I have found that our regular institutions have needed a refreshing second look as we navigate our way through this world pandemic. It is not only comforting but right to see the divine source of all governing decisions. Here in Canada, we have noticed a dramatic easing of partisan viewpoints during our steady move toward stability.
