Efforts, appreciation, and healing for all
Dear Reader,
My heart goes out to an author who wrote in about feeling disappointed. An article submission had not been accepted, and the writer wanted to know if it was because our standards are too high, adding, “If these are our publications, then let us share our ideas with others. Seems simple enough to me.” If only it were that simple!
I speak for myself, and for many others who have submitted articles that have not been published: We know how much effort goes into writing an article and how disappointing it can be when it is not accepted—something we all have experienced, even those of us who are editors. So, we deeply appreciate the effort every contributor makes to share in writing an insight or healing to bring the message of Christian Science to the intended audience of the Christian Science periodicals, which is all humanity—those familiar with Christian Science, and many more who have a spiritual hunger and need for healing that Christian Science can fulfill.
