Autoimmune illness healed
In my early twenties, I was introduced to Christian Science through my boyfriend’s family and became familiar with some of its teachings. I attended a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, for a while. Many years passed after I stopped attending, and I began a spiritual search. Some studies reminded me of things I had learned from my study of Christian Science, and I always seemed to be brought back to those earlier understandings.
After learning that a friend of mine was a Christian Scientist, I asked her if the zip-up case containing the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy was still available. That began one of many conversations we had about Christian Science. I was immediately interested in it again.
When I began to become reacquainted with Christian Science, I had a strong feeling that I was finding the truth. I was seeing life differently. Science and Health was so appealing and so interesting to me that I found myself wanting to dig deeper and learn more. I began attending Christian Science church services and Wednesday testimony meetings regularly.
