No more severe sunburn or snow blindness
Early in my career, I was invited to deliver a keynote address to a business association in Banff, Alberta, Canada. As a lover of cross-country skiing, I seized the opportunity to ski the Canadian Rockies the weekend prior to the meeting.
After I had spent a whole day in cross-country heaven, my face felt unusually warm to the touch. When I returned to the hotel, I noted extreme sunburn on my face. That evening, after several attendees at the conference commented on how sunburned I looked, I quickly sought refuge in my hotel room to pray earnestly for healing.
The words of the first verse of Hymn 374 by John Randall Dunn in the Christian Science Hymnal came to thought:
