‘No want shall turn me back’
When it’s time for a big life change, the thought that we aren’t prepared, or that we’ll miss something of what we’ve left behind, sometimes confronts us. Where will the supply come from; will there be enough when we need it; will we be happy; will we regret the change? These sneaky, limited mortal thoughts would have us believe that a change must be scary or intimidating, and that God’s care might not be sufficient for us.
In the Christian Science Hymnal, part of the second stanza of Hymn 148 assures us,
