Hope everyone reads this
[Margaret Mayer, “Strive for an enlightened response to news,” Sentinel, January 8, 2018]
I hope that everyone reads this article and takes it to heart. It is easier to let human emotion and personal opinion influence our thinking, but God’s demand is unselfed love. Thank you for this thoughtful article.

Very relevant subject
[Diane Marrapodi, “Healing after sexual abuse,” Sentinel, January 8, 2018]
I’d like to thank you all for shining a light on this current, very relevant subject. What a great example of the Sentinel staying abreast of the times. I was so impressed that Diane worked through this tough situation as a young girl, using her Sunday School training every step of the way. This should be a great comfort to other girls and young women, who often feel so helpless in these types of situations.
And thank you to Diane for reading her wonderfully clear, well-written article. I get so much out of listening to the Sentinel and then going back for an in-depth read of some of the articles.
