Child’s burn healed
One evening, our family was roasting marshmallows in our back garden when our five-year-old daughter, Alma, pulled her marshmallow out of the fire to inspect it. In the process, she accidentally touched the hot marshmallow to her face near her eye.
My husband and I quickly cleaned up what we could of the marshmallow, but we didn’t feel qualified to finish cleaning the wound properly. We talked about where we could take her to get the fastest, best care. We agreed to call the Christian Science nurses at a nearby Christian Science nursing facility. Our family had already had good experiences of loving care from these Christian Science nurses after the birth of our daughter, and the facility was only a short drive away. We also called a Christian Science practitioner, and he began praying for Alma immediately.
