Knee injuries healed
I’ve had four major healings involving my knees. At two different times it felt as though I’d cracked a kneecap. One of them involved tripping over a concrete object at night while walking briskly in a parking lot. The other experience involved climbing over a patio fence and having the fence give way. In both cases I needed to drive a considerable distance home, praying all the way. Both times any sense of pain or damage was healed before arriving home.
The third incident occurred while vacationing in Glacier Park, Montana, with family. We’d stopped at a lodge, and as I looked up while talking to our daughter-in-law, I stepped off the sidewalk and onto the parking lot, falling hard. Hearing our son say “Oh no!” I took that to mean “No way!” I got right up and went to the car. Another man that witnessed this brought his first aid kit, but I kindly said I was fine. There was some praying to do, and I was grateful for my family’s support. By that night at bedtime, there was only a small scratch on the knee and no pain.
The fourth incident is my favorite. The family was over for a fun day. We had puppies that were temporarily kept in the kitchen by an unattached door lying on its side. Stepping over it, I caught my toe, and down I went. I quickly went into another room to pray. It was a struggle to get comfortable. There was pain. No matter which way I stretched out my leg, I could not find comfort.
