Hope for humanity: Yield to the harmony of divine Mind
The experiences of Christian Scientists, as recorded in this magazine, speak of hope for the human race in ridding the world of the evils that plague it.
That may seem like an extraordinary claim, and I’m not suggesting that evil in its many forms will suddenly be exterminated from the world at any time soon. Far from it!
But, consider this: You will notice, as you thoughtfully read the articles and testimonies herein, that the physical healings and other improvements recorded have come about when an individual has experienced some measure of spiritual enlightenment and transformation of character. As the Discoverer of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, writes in the textbook of Christian Science, “The effect of this Science is to stir the human mind to a change of base, on which it may yield to the harmony of the divine Mind” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 162).
