Freed from aggressive flu symptoms
One time, when I was working in a retail organization, several members of the staff were off work for two or three days with flu symptoms. There seemed to be a general sense that it was normal to experience sickness in this way.
However, I had learned in Christian Science about the all-good God that neither knows nor sends sickness, a God that created us spiritual and perfect, the reflection of Himself. So, God alone has power over us, and this gives us power and authority over illness of every kind.
One day at work, though, I felt the same symptoms coming on aggressively that my colleagues were experiencing. On my way home at the end of the day, I had to really stand up mentally to this seeming bully called sickness.
