Healed of sudden pain
In the autumn of 2015 I was going through some correspondence at home, which required a phone call to a bank. During this call, which was not in the least stressful, I blacked out for no apparent reason. I revived about half an hour later.
When my wife came home shortly afterward, I did not mention my loss of consciousness, as I did not wish to worry her (she isn’t a Christian Scientist). I said, “I feel a bit tired. I’ll just lie down on the sofa for a while.” When I woke up a short time later, I found it was almost impossible to move without intense pain in the muscles of my upper body.
My wife was concerned and wanted to call an emergency service, but I felt the loving presence of God eliminating all fear. I was sure God could heal me because of the many times prayer had met my needs in the past, including a quick and complete healing earlier that year of a painful heel injury. I wanted to call a Christian Science practitioner, and I had her number on my mobile phone, which my wife passed to me. The practitioner’s clear message was to know that we are uplifted and supported by divine Love.
