A song of healing inspiration
It was early morning, still quite dark, as I walked my dog, Dusty, before work. As a preschool teacher in a very busy classroom, I cherish this time each weekday. In the quiet of the streets and woods I open my heart for inspiration and guidance for the day ahead. I always feel a sweet presence of Love and gratitude accompany me home. This particular morning, however, I was not feeling at all well. In fact, I was wondering if I would be able to go to work.
I walked slowly, knowing that I must find a way to lift my thought above this challenging situation. I often pray, throughout the day. It can be a momentary “Thank You, Father-Mother God, for Your presence!” or “OK, I’m listening, Father, what shall I do now?” or “I can behold Your child, right here, right now.” Many times each day I acknowledge our one true Parent and guide. And without fail I find comfort, direction, healing.
So, I turned my thought Godward. I reasoned this way: God is. Only God is. Nothing unlike God, good, is. So, since only good is, then sickness cannot be.
