Compelling idea
[TeenConnect, “#metoo,” Jenny Sawyer, JSH-Online.com, October 19, 2017]
I haven’t taken adequate time to digest or pray about the many #metoos that have appeared on Facebook and social media. The most compelling idea that I will take with me from this piece is that there is a me-too response that rebuilds, strengthens, and heals as we allow this idea to form: “Man’s God-created nature is spiritual, not sexual.” I will continue to consider the implications of being spiritual.

Clarification
The Bible Lens for the Christian Science Bible Lesson “Probation After Death” (October 16, 2017, Sentinel) included the statement, “Jesus later also appeared to Saul.” Some Bible commentators use this wording figuratively to describe the Christly communication with Saul on the road to Damascus—as Ananias also did (see Acts 9:17). While this was the intent of the note, we would like to make clear that Jesus did not appear physically to Saul, or Paul. The biography We Knew Mary Baker Eddy (Expanded Edition, Vol. 1, p. 163) offers Mary Baker Eddy’s thoughts about this event.
