Prayer stops cold symptoms quickly
In August of last year, my husband and I had planned a backpacking trip through the Sierra Nevada mountains with my brother, an avid mountain climber. This trip would be the first time I had been backpacking since my childhood, and I couldn’t wait.
I had been praying about the trip for a few weeks, knowing that, in reality, divine Mind was governing every condition in perfect order, so we could expect harmony in everything from the weather to our equipment.
On the day before we were set to leave on the trail, I was at the airport waiting for my connecting flight when I started experiencing cold symptoms. It was so tempting to believe this was my “annual cold” and that it would ruin our trip. But from my experience with Christian Science, I knew I needed to refute that suggestion.
