Freedom from menopause symptoms
As a young teenager, I had seen a close relative suffer from menopause. At that time I had said to myself: “When that time comes for me, I’m going to go on top of a mountain and stay there until it passes. At least I won’t cause suffering to those around me.” I loved this dear relative, and it was hard to relate to her pain.
As I got older and became more serious about my study of Christian Science, I started to better understand my dominion over the false laws of matter. I experienced healing, such as a healing of monthly menstrual pains, as well as a healing of barrenness. With the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, in a few years my husband and I were blessed with five children.
After taking Primary class instruction in Christian Science, a two-week course of study with an authorized teacher of Christian Science, many wonderful healings for my husband and children followed. By the time I reached the age predicted for women to experience problems related to menopause, each symptom was cast out quickly and thoroughly with the spiritual truths I had gained in my daily study of Christian Science. Christian Science gave me a clear view of God’s spiritual creation. It enabled me to stand on the mountaintop of divine Love, whole and completely free of false, material concepts.
