Injured finger healed
As a lifelong Christian Scientist, I’ve found prayer, based on a spiritual understanding of God and His perfect creation, to be an effective means of healing. I’ve experienced many proofs of God’s healing presence and power throughout my life.
I am reminded of a healing I had a few winters ago. One morning, I was having trouble securing a suet holder, after putting a new suet cake into the bird feeder in our backyard. To keep raccoons and squirrels from taking the cake, I was using a twisted wire to keep the holder closed. The holder itself was nailed to a tree, and I had to reach above my head to maneuver the wire. The thought came to me that this was a dangerous thing to be doing. Suddenly my hand slipped and the wire penetrated the glove on my left hand, fish-hooking my index finger. I felt a sharp pain, and soon discovered that I could not remove the wire from my finger.
