God’s gracious preparation
Human existence isn’t always easy. It’s a fact that Mary Baker Eddy was well aware of. If we look at her early life, it’s clear she certainly didn’t have things easy.
Fraught with illness for the majority of her childhood, Eddy grew up and fell in love with a man who died within a year of the marriage. Her child from this marriage was taken away from her, as she wasn’t deemed strong enough to look after him. Although her second marriage was based on genuine affection, it was plagued with her spouse’s infidelity, and it ended in divorce.
All God knows and creates is good, and He is the only power.
