Letters
We invite you to share with readers the comfort and spiritual strength that the Bible’s book of Psalms can bring to each of us in our practice of Christian Science. If a particular psalm or verse has been integral to a healing, or has been a guidepost in your life, the ideas you have to share could be very helpful to others. See http://jsh.christianscience.com/submit for submission information. Please write “Comfort from the Psalms” in the “Author comments” field.
I just had to write to express my gratitude for all the wonderful contents of all the Sentinels, but especially for the article that just came in the August 15, 2016, issue, “Caring for the Olympics with prayer” by Margit Hammerstrom.
This is not only a prayer for those participating in the Rio Olympics, but is for all mankind participating in the challenges of so-called human existence! In short: “Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God” (Ephesians 6:10, 11).
Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
