Back pain from car accident dissolves
Early one Thursday morning I was driving to work when another vehicle turned onto the highway ahead of me and struck the side of my truck. I was knocked across the grassy median, across the other side of the highway, and then onto a side street.
As soon as my vehicle was struck, I reached out to God in my thought with the simple affirmation that God was present, and I felt God there with me, protecting me. I was grateful for the immediate protection, as there was no oncoming traffic on the other side of the highway or on the side street.
When my vehicle came to a stop, I called my wife and asked her to contact a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. I felt a good deal of pain in my back, but I felt confident in relying on Christian Science for healing. I was able to assure the police officer who responded to the scene that I was fine and did not need medical attention.
