Gratitude for healings

Originally written in French, this first appeared in the July 2016 Portuguese, Spanish, French, and German editions of The Herald of Christian Science.

It is with great joy that I express my gratitude for Christian Science, for every blessing I’ve received, for every healing I’ve had, and for being protected several times.

In 1967, I started to suffer from headaches and stomachaches. Every year I would reside in dispensaries and hospitals in February and May for medical care, which didn’t bring relief. According to the medical diagnosis, I often had intestinal worms.

In 1976, a friend gave me a copy of The Herald of Christian Science, French Edition, which included testimonies by people healed through the study and practice of the teachings of Christian Science. I started to study the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
