Immediate prayer brings quick healing
For many years I have grown semi-evergreen vine thicket plants to be replanted for the rehabilitation and restoration of the modified areas of the Mount Etna Caves National Park. The seeds first have to be collected, and at times this involves climbing over some very rough terrain. It was on one of these seed-collecting trips with my husband that I had a healing that meant a great deal to me.
I showed my husband a cave entrance that he was not previously aware of, and he decided to have a bit of a look into it as far as the daylight illuminated the cave. I continued looking for seeds and climbed up over the rock face to check the trees above for seeds.
Coming back down the rock face, I jumped down the last few feet and landed in some very fine silt. One of my boots sank down sideways so that the entire weight of my body bore down on that ankle, which caused excruciating pain. I was unable to stand on that leg. Immediately the thought came to me that when you appear to be hurt, “Declare that you are not hurt and understand the reason why ….” That’s on page 397 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
