Divine Love’s healing power
When something seems wrong—whether in one of your relationships with another, in your home life, in your work, or in your body—you might decide that the course of action you wish to follow, in order to bring healing to the situation, is prayer. For many readers of this magazine, the next step might be to contact a Christian Science practitioner to request specific prayer, or Christian Science treatment, to heal whatever it is they are facing.
In Christian Science, God, Love, is seen as omnipresence, omniscience, omnipotence: all-presence; all-science, or true knowledge; and all-power.
If you are like me, though, you may have wondered at some point about how such prayerful treatment in Christian Science works. How does requesting Christian Science treatment from someone who may live in another place, or even in another country or continent, help you right where you are?
