Healed of burns
When one of our sons was quite young, he accidentally spilled a bowl of extremely hot soup on his arm; the burns were severe. My immediate reaction to my son’s cry was, “I am so sorry! I should have cooled the soup off.” Then I immediately turned to God and His loving presence.
I called a Christian Science practitioner, an individual who devotes full time to praying for those turning to spiritual healing rather than medicine. Being a lifelong Christian Scientist, I had seen so many healings in my family when I was growing up. It was only natural for me to choose this way now.
I immediately called a nearby Christian Science nursing facility to let them know that I was driving my son there to receive skilled care from the Christian Science nurses who provide practical assistance to those having prayerful treatment from a Christian Science practitioner.
