A firm foundation for the healing practice
When the heart yearns for divine Love’s guidance, we can be assured of being gently directed to where we need to be, and when we need to be there. Spiritual growth accompanies all of our desires Spiritward, and divine inspiration never leaves us in a rut or treading endlessly through old ways of thinking.
Some years back I felt led to take Primary class instruction in Christian Science. While my active membership in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, had certainly been a blessing, I knew class would further prepare me to enter the healing ministry, to be an active practitioner of the Science of Christ, ready to heal and uplift world thought, and this was really something I wanted to do.
My mental closet of concerns received a thorough cleaning as I prayerfully prepared for class. Financial and logistical limitations fell away, which I saw as evidence that this was a God-directed activity. And I found class itself to be a veritable sanctuary of learning, prayer, and uplift that deeply changed my thought and outlook.
