Chest pains gone and pet healed
I am very grateful for the inspiring articles and testimonies in the Sentinel and The Christian Science Journal. At one time, while reading an article, I was impressed with the idea that I was the outcome of God expressing Himself, and the deep joy that understanding this truth brings, and I wrote down that thought on a piece of paper to remember.
During that week I was suddenly overcome with tremendous chest pains that incapacitated me. I felt I was losing consciousness and sat down on a chair. I picked up the piece of paper with that thought written on it and stated to myself that I lived in the spiritual joy of knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that I was the outcome of God expressing Himself. And God could not be limited, bound up, or subject to discomfort. I held to this thought and knew my freedom could not be hindered by any physical cause.
In a short time, the pain abated. Soon I was completely free and went about my day, reveling in Love’s supreme joy. The symptoms have never returned.
