Comfort from the Psalms
The Christian Science Journal

Forever in God’s love

We are always in the infinitude of God’s presence.

Perfect perception

Recently, after an experience I had leaving a shopping mall, I started thinking about the idea of perception.
I was having company over for dinner, so I put plates on top of the stove to warm.

Why wait to be grateful?

The truth is that good is everywhere, now.
Through Christ, we learn that our real selfhood is as the sons and daughters of God.

‘Sing unto the Lord …’

Several years ago, I distinctly remember sitting in the window seat in my office with tears streaming down my cheeks; I was in utter despair.

Finding home

The tears caught me by surprise.

A significant childhood healing

Our family came into Christian Science when, as a baby, my aunt was healed of a disease that was considered fatal.
A few years ago I was stricken with what I believed was dengue fever.

Injuries healed

During Christian Science class instruction, if our class would start to get bogged down when discussing some false claim of evil, the teacher would pause and ask, “How many minds are there?
I am very grateful for the inspiring articles and testimonies in the Sentinel and The Christian Science Journal.

Insistent bliss

Former trials are passed away, those Revelation vials of plague.

Bread for the affections

Let us seek the real bread of life—the grace of God, divine Love—and let us love.
