Healings over the holidays
The run-up to Christmas had always been a challenging time for me, as my husband and I usually have several family members staying with us and we host the Christmas celebrations for our extended family.
I love hosting, and having a house full of family is a joy, but in the past I’d found it quite tiring to handle all the necessary planning, decorating, shopping, preparation, and cooking. I prayed with the idea that it is a joyful task to prepare for loving activities that bless everyone, and we cannot find ourselves depleted in any way.
