Headaches healed

Over 40 years ago, I was experiencing periodic headaches that were so debilitating I was ill for a couple of days each time.

One day I was to attend a meeting with other Christian Scientists in another city two hours away. Another church member and I were to make the trip together, but that morning when I woke up, one of those headaches started to develop. It did not seem right to cancel at the last minute, because I was to do the driving.

I picked up my friend, and we started out to the other city, but I was feeling increasingly worse. It got to the point where I felt as though I might not live to make it to the other city, and I did not care whether I did or not! I continued on, however, and when we arrived at our destination, my friend went inside to check on the arrangements. Since I had not had time to study the weekly Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly that morning, and I had my Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, with me, I painfully started reading the Lesson.
