The answer I was seeking
I learned a big lesson about divine guidance years ago when I was looking for a Christian Science teacher from whom I could take Primary class instruction. That lesson stuck with me, and it still feels like fresh manna today.
I knew from the start that my search had to be a spiritually inspired process, rather than a mechanical one. Making a spreadsheet listing pros and cons of potential teachers didn’t seem right. So my prayer was simply “Show me, Father; I’m listening.”
I listened and listened, but there was no answer. As I was searching for an answer, I continued reading articles in the Christian Science magazines and made a point of attending as many Christian Science lectures as I could.
